This project conceives of the ADU as a space that doesn’t have to limit the quality of its domestic environment to just a simple volume disconnected from the site. Rather than trying to pack all the living functions into a small space, this design maximizes volume, light, privacy and connectedness to the landscape. The concept presents a raw and honest approach to materials while connecting its flexible living spaces to an outdoor garden environment.
